Introduction

This chapter provides step-by-step instructions for setting up assumption cells in Crystal Ball models so simulations can be run against them. This chapter also describes all the ways you can use the Distribution Gallery to organize the favorite distributions and define categories of distributions to share with others. The next chapter describes how to define decision variable and forecast cells and to cut, copy, and paste data.

If you are a new user, you should start by working through the tutorials in Crystal Ball Tutorials, and then read this chapter. After you complete this chapter and Defining Other Model Elements, read Running Simulations for information on setting preferences and running simulations.
