Run preferences determine how Crystal Ball runs a simulation.
To change run preferences:
Choose Run, and then Run Preferences to display the Run Preferences dialog, .
Click the tab with the preferences to change, described in the following sections:
Setting Trials Preferences — Specify when to stop a simulation, namely number of trials, calculation errors, and precision control.
Setting Sampling Preferences — Set the sampling seed value, method, and sample size.
Setting Speed Preferences — Determine whether a simulation runs in Normal, Demo, or Extreme (if available) and set additional speed control options.
Setting Options Preferences — Set a number of run preferences, including whether sensitivity data and assumption values are stored, whether assumption correlations are activated, whether user macros are run, whether the Crystal Ball Control Panel opens, and whether advanced accessibility settings should be switched on.
Setting Statistics Preferences — Determine how Crystal Ball displays percentiles and activates process capability features.
To reset settings on the active tab to the original defaults, click Defaults.
