Conditional Navigation Properties Frame

The Conditional Navigation Properties frame provides a mechanism to configure the navigational structure of dashboards based on selected query limits values. The component extends navigation, which is set in Step 5: Configure Navigation of Dashboard Studio by enabling users to specify fixed and conditional navigation items. Fixed navigation items are displayed on every section. Conditional navigation items are displayed only if the appropriate query limits have been set.

Conditional Navigation Properties enables sections to be hidden that contain no data if a query is processed with restrictive query limits selected. For example, a dashboard that contains an analysis called Rental Returns, is not blank if rr is selected for the query limits called Actions. In Actions, if del is selected, and the query is processed, you can use the Conditional Navigation Properties frame to suppress the Rental Returns section.

Note:

Configuration frames are part of the design process and are only available in templates and ESMs; therefore, they are not available in runtime releases.
