Drilling Operations

  To drill by double-clicking a pivot cell:

1. Open a dashboard that contains the Drill Across component.

2. From the Query Panel, click to process the query.

   A pivot is displayed.

3. Double-click a cell in the pivot.

   A dialog box is displayed asking for confirmation of the target and to drill across.

   Optional: To change the drill target, see the procedure below.

4. Click OK to accept the default target and drill across.

   The target is displayed.

  To change the drill target:

1. From the dialog box that asks for confirmation of the target and to drill across, select No.

2. Click to change the drill target.

3. Double-click the pivot cell again.

  To return from a drill operation, click . The source section, from which the drill was initiated, is displayed.
