The Drill and Slice component enables the dashboard developer to create a hierarchy of local filters that are used as the basis for navigating through a data set in an Interactive Reporting Studio document. Only one hierarchy can exist in an Interactive Reporting Studio document. The hierarchy members must be local filters.
As you descend through the hierarchy, the current hierarchy column replaces a pivot row label and chart axis or both. At each level, you can select values to reduce the data that is available to the next level.
