The Graphic Gauges component employs a naming scheme to identify and manage gauges. The scheme compiles names in four parts; parts are separated by (^).
Example, sun^Hysl_gg^1^1:
sun—Gauge style or image; includes all characters except space or caret (^)
Hysl_gg—Unique identifier of the Graphic Gauges component
1, 2, 3, 4, and so on—The value range associated with the image; for example, 1 very bad and 5 excellent
1, 2, 3, 4, and so on—The gauge instance (For example, all images with identical values in parts 1, 2, and 4 are sections of one gauge; therefore, gauges can be duplicated and instance numbers can be automatically incremented)
Table 20. Images and Names that Comprise the Sun and Small Traffic Light Gauges
Image | Name |
---|---|
sun^Hysl_gg^1^1 | |
sun^Hysl_gg^2^1 | |
sun^Hysl_gg^3^1 | |
sun^Hysl_gg^4^1 | |
sun^Hysl_gg^5^1 | |
trl_sm^Hysl_gg^1^1 | |
trl_sm^Hysl_gg^2^1 | |
trl_sm^Hysl_gg^3^1 |
Note:
Any image can be used for a gauge; however, it must follow the naming pattern scheme. Import the images into the Interactive Reporting document, name them according to the defined scheme, and use them in the same way as the previously created gauges.
