Use the Gauge Properties frame to set gauge properties. Each gauge set is mapped to a corresponding label value.
To set gauge properties:
In Interactive Reporting Studio, open a dashboard that contains the Graphic Gauges component.
Navigate to Gauge Properties.
To access the configuration frame, use Sections or the Configuration drop-down list found in Dashboard Studio.
From Dashboards with Gauges, select an option and a frame to configure:
All dashboards—All frames in the dashboard
Configured dashboards—Only frames containing gauges
Unconfigured dashboards—Only frames without gauges
Optional: Click to view the selected frame.
From Gauge Configuration, select these items:
Select a Gauge Table.
The results section or table that contains the value range computed item. See Figure 14, Gauge Table Example.
Select a Value Range Column.
The computed column that the gauges measure. See the Value column in Figure 14, Gauge Table Example.
Select a Label Column.
The values that the gauges represent. See the Region column in Figure 14, Gauge Table Example.
Select a Gauge Label.
The individual label column values assigned to a gauge set. For example, in Figure 14, Gauge Table Example, East, North, South, or West.
The Graphic Gauges component uses "_._" as a separator. Therefore, to avoid operational errors, table or column names containing the string are not permitted, and are not selectable.
Move selected gauges between Available Gauges and Configured Gauges by clicking and
.
The selected gauges are mapped to the label value displayed in Gauge Label.
Repeat steps 3–6 to configure and label all gauges.
Optional: Perform an action:
To revert to previously saved settings, click Restore
To remove all current specifications, click Clear All
Click Apply to load the gauges.
Navigate to the frame containing the gauges.
The gauges reflect the values in the Value Range column of the results or table.
