Using a Runtime Release of the Group Tabs Component

The Group Tabs component commits the history of selected tabs on the second and subsequent rows to memory. Therefore, if you select a tab on the first navigation row, and then select a tab on the second navigation row, when you return to the first row tab, the second row tab is remembered and the associated frame is displayed.

*  To use the Group Tabs component:

  1. In Interactive Reporting Studio, open a dashboard that is configured with the Group Tabs component.

  2. Navigate to a frame that contains the group tab navigation structure.

  3. Select a tab on the first navigation row.

The dashboard locates and displays the selected frame.

  4. Select a tab on the second navigation row.

    The selected frame is displayed.

  5. Select another tab on the first navigation row.

    The selected frame is displayed.

  6. Repeat step 3, by selecting the same first row tab.

The frame associated with the tab from step 4, on the second row, is displayed. Therefore, you are returned to the frame last visited on that row.
