The Maps.bqy file contains a blank frame that can be configured to represent spotlighted maps.
Bitmaps (BMPs) are required, and each item to be spotlighted must be configured.
Note:
The blank frame prototype is also available in the Frame_Library.bqy in the templates folder.
To configure the Map Blank frame:
In Interactive Reporting Studio, open a dashboard that contains a section called Map Blank.
From Sections, select Map Blank, and rename it.
Optional: To configure multiple maps, duplicate the blank map section, and configure each map individually. Repeat steps 5–10 as many times as required.
Press Ctrl+D to enter Design mode.
From the catalog pane, expand Graphics or Resources, drag a map image onto the frame, and position the image.
From Graphics, drag an shape object onto the frame, and in Properties set the fill color to white.
Position the shape on top of the map in an area to be spotlighted, and double-click the object.
Properties is displayed again.
Enter the object name as QiqColor^<summary_table_name>^<column value>.
For example, enter QiqColor^State_Color^CA. Shape set names cannot contain spaces. The object name is divided into three parts:
QiqColor—Text label name
<summary_table_name>—Must match the summary table name (The second part of the shape set name is the summary table name.)
<column value>—Must match the name of a value in the results section to be spotlighted
Click OK.
Optional: Copy and paste as many instances of the object as required, and repeat these procedures as many times as needed, once for each pasted object.
Press Ctrl+D to exit Design mode, and save the dashboard.
