Configuring the Query Limits Component

To configure the Query Limits component:

Merge the component. See Merging Components.
Configure (Query Limits).
Configure Required and Optional Limits.
Set Query Limits as the Startup frame.

This topic describes the process of configuring a Query Limits frame using an editable source master (ESM) document. These procedures assume that the dashboard contains variable limits.

These controls are available only in an ESM dashboard.

Test—Initiates Query Limits to be displayed in a runtime dashboard
(Find Queries)
and between Required Limits and Optional Limits lists

Before you can configure Query Limits, add and configure Query Limits button . After the component is configured, the button enables you to activate the Query Limit frame from other frames.
