Tree limit controls located in the QIQ Tree Limits Samples, include list boxes and buttons that can be copied and pasted onto frames.
Tree Limits List Boxes—Display a hierarchy; for example, geography or product line (Use Hierarchy Source on QIQ Tree Limit Properties to configure the list contents. To view multiple hierarchies, paste another tree limits list onto the frame. The number at the end of the list name is incremented).
Tip:
In Unicode releases of Interactive Reporting Studio, existing tree list boxes are better represented by changing to a Unicode font. See Unicode Characters.
Expand and Collapse Button—Clicking 
expands and collapses nodes selected in the tree limits lists (It is provided for compatibility with EPM Workspace, because double-clicks are not supported on the EPM Workspace platform. See Tree Component Compatibility with EPM Workspace. The Visible property is not selected by default).
Add and Remove Buttons—Add and remove selected values in the tree limits lists (Only one set is required on a frame, as both work with query limits and filters. Removing a value from a tree control in the Tree component causes the selected value and values beneath to be removed in a cascading manner).
Display List Boxes—Two list boxes exist: Filters and Selected Limits (Filters displays all applied filters. Add this list when the frame requires tree limits lists that apply filters. Selected Limits displays all applied query limits).
Process Button—Process selected query sections in the dashboard (Add this button when the frame requires tree limits lists that apply query limits).
Clear Button—Remove applied query limits (To clear filters, click 
on the Dashboard Studio toolbar).
