Using Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML) format, you can import and export data mining models that have been trained (completed the build task). Importing models enables use of models created outside the Data Mining Framework.
Note: | Extensions added to PMML by other vendors may not be supported. When using an imported model, you must identify an algorithm that most closely matches the algorithm of the imported model. |
You can also use the import/export feature to move models across multiple Essbase Servers.
To export a data mining model in PMML format:
From Enterprise View or a custom view, expand the Data Mining node for the instance of Essbase Server to which you are connected.
Double-click Mining Models, or right-click Mining Models and select Display Mining Models.
Select the model to be exported and click Export.
In the Export dialog box, specify the name of the export file, the location where it is to be saved, and click Export.
