To load source data using custom loaders:
Identify the source data to be loaded and decide the columns you want to populate in the Open Interface table.
Decide to load multiple periods or a single period at a time. If you are plan to load multiple periods, then you must define period mappings in the Source Period Mapping screen. If you are plan to load a single period at a time, then define period mappings or load all data to the POV period.
On the Source Adapter screen, copy the Open Interface Adapter to a new adapter.
For the new adapter:
Provide a new adapter key. The adapter key can be 10 characters long. Once it has been created, it cannot be modified.
Make necessary modifications to Display Names. This Display Name is shown in the Import Format and Data Load Workbench.
On the Import Format screen, define a new import format for importing the data.
Select the open source systems defined in step 3 and the customized adapter defined in step 4. Map the source columns to the appropriate target dimensions.
When the import format mappings are complete, screen, select Regenerate ODI Scenario.
This step generates the ODI Scenario based on the import format mappings.
On the Locations screen, define a new location using the import format.
On the Data Rule screen, define the new data rule.
Select the appropriate period mapping method. Provide a value for the batch name you will use for populating the data in the table.
Execute the data rule using one of three methods:
