Changing Passwords

You must change your password whenever it expires or for security purposes.

To change your password:

Select Essbase, and then Connect.
If you are not currently connected to a database, you must connect to one. You can change your password only if you are connected to a server.
Click Change Password.
In Change Password, enter a password in New Password.
Enter the password again in Confirm Password.
Click OK.
Note:
If Essbase forces you to change your password (for example, if your password expires) the Change Password dialog box displays automatically.
