Replacing Missing and No Access Labels

You can define labels for missing values and for data that you cannot access.

To replace the default names for missing values and inaccessible data:

  1. Select Essbase, and then Options.

  2. In Essbase Options, select Display.

  3. Under Replacement, enter text:

    • #Missing Label—Specifies a label for missing values.

    • #No Access Label—Specifies a label for data that you cannot access.

  4. Click OK.

Missing and No Access labels, however, must not match member names or aliases in the outline

If a Missing or No Access label matches a member name or alias, drilling down on that label returns errors.

  To fix these errors:

  1. Select Essbase, and then Options.

  2. In Essbase Options, select Display.

  3. Under Replacement, delete the matching label from #Missing Label or No Access Label, and then click OK.

  4. Select Essbase, and then Options, again.

  5. Click OK.
