Alias sets are the container that holds the alias bindings that you create.
To create an alias set:
In Essbase Studio Console, select Tools, then Alias Set Manager.
To the right of the Alias sets list box, click the Create an alias set button.
At the prompt, enter a name for the alias set, and click OK.
The name you entered now appears in the “Alias sets” list box in the Alias Set Manager.
Optional: Enter a Description for the alias set.
You can now create one or more bindings for this alias set, as described in Creating Bindings Manually for an Alias Set .
