Creating a Drill-through Report

  To create a drill-through report:

1. In the Metadata Navigator, select the folder where you want to store the drill-through report, right-click and select New, and then Drill-through Report.

   If you select a folder and then right-click and select the Drill-through Report option, the drill-through report is stored in that folder; if you right-click on Root, it is stored at the root level.

2. Enter a Name.

   Drill-through report names cannot exceed 50 characters.

3. Optional: Enter a Description.

4. Complete these tasks:

   • Specify the report intersection levels; see Specifying Report Intersection Levels.

   • Define the report type and customize the report; see Defining the Report Type and Customizing the Report.

   • Associate the report with one or more exported models; see Associating Drill-through Reports with Essbase Models.
