Viewing Properties of Text File Source Files

  To view the properties of a source text file:

1. From the Source Navigator, select the Data Sources tab.

2. Under Data Sources in the physical tree, navigate to the text file.

3. Right-click the file name and select Properties to view the General properties.

   To view the column properties of the file, see Viewing Properties of Text File Source Columns.

   These properties are displayed:

   • Physical source file name

   • Data source connection name

   • Text file name

   • The column names in the file and their column data types
