Assigning Application Object Security

Use the Object Maintenance screen in the FDM Web client to assign minimum security rights for FDM application objects. The Object Maintenance form lists the application objects and their dependant controls.

  To assign or change application object security:

  1. From the FDM Web client, select Administration > Object Maintenance.

    The Object Maintenance screen is displayed.

    The image shows the Object Maintenance Screen which contains two grids; the upper grid contains the objects, and the lower grid contains the controls for the object selected in the upper grid.

  2. From the top grid, select an application object.

  3. From the bottom grid, select a control for the object.

  4. From Security Level, select a security level.
