You can add URLs with two types of Oracle Universal Content Management protocols: http:// or idc://. The protocol you select determines how the URLs are added:
Note: | The protocol http:// requires that you define the properties HTTPProxyHost and HTTPProxyPort in JConsole. The protocol idc:// does not require prior properties setup. |
http://—URLs can be pasted into the Document URL field. The Logon dialog is displayed where you enter the Oracle Universal Content Management User ID and Password.
idc://—The Oracle Universal Content Management host name, idc port number, and document ID are typed into the Document URL field. The syntax: idc://<hostname>:<port number>.<document ID>. For example: idc://vacorda08.us.oracle.com:4444.DM0000213
Note: | For information locating the host name, port number and document ID, see Locating Property Values in Oracle Universal Content Management. |
