The formula bar contains a text box for entering formulas and a drop-down list of functions for building formulas. If you select a grid member, member selection is activated on the formula bar.
To create a formula using the formula bar:
At the top of the page, use the formula bar to create a formula using one of the following methods:
Type the formula directly into the formula bar
Use the drop-down menu on the formula bar to select the formula function.
Click the Validation icon
on the formula bar to validate the formula, and correct any errors.
