Asymmetric rows and columns contain different sets of members selected across the same dimensions. For example:
Row/Column A: Scenario = Actual, Time Period = Q1
Row/Column B: Scenario = Budget, Time Period = Q2, Q3, Q4

Click  to the right of the dimension name, and then modify the members selected for this dimension. See Using the Member Selector.
