Linking Tasks to Planning Web Pages

Use Copy Document Link to link tasks in task lists to application pages. You can copy and paste the URL address from a page in the Planning application to a task. The task list user can access the Planning page within the task list.

  To copy URLs to task lists:

  1. Access the page in the Planning application to which to link a task.

  2. Select Tools, then Copy Link.

  3. Open the task list to which to link a task.

  4. Select the task to which to link the copied Planning page and select Edit.

  5. Click Property.

  6. Use the browser to paste the information. For example, in the Microsoft Internet Explorer menu, select Edit, then Paste.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Click Close.
