To create simple data forms, define:
Data form properties. See Setting Data Form Grid Properties, Setting Dimension Properties, and Setting Row and Column Layout.
Row and column layout. See Setting Row and Column Layout.
Page and POV. See Page Axis and Point of View.
Member selection. See Using the Member Selector.
Display options. See Setting Data Form Precision, Display Properties, and Other Options.
Business rules selection and properties. See Using Business Rules.
Access permissions. See Setting Up Access Permissions.
Formula rows and columns. See Designing Data Forms with Formula Rows and Columns.
Data validation rules. See Designing Data Forms with Data Validation.
You can also create composite data forms, which are data forms that display several simple data forms simultaneously. See Creating Composite Data Forms.
To create simple data forms:
Select Administration, then Manage, and then Data Forms and Ad Hoc Grids.
Select the folder in which to store the data form (see Selecting and Opening Data Forms and Folders).
Provide a name of up to 80 characters, and an optional description of up to 255 characters.
Select the Plan Type associated with the data form. See Data Forms and Plan Types.
Optional: Provide instructions for working with the data form.
Click Next to lay out the data form rows and columns. See Setting Row and Column Layout.
