Strategy Maps

Strategy maps identify how strategy elements are interrelated and how they work together to meet your organization’s strategic goals. For example, a strategy element called “Improved Product Quality” probably impacts strategy elements called “Reduce product returns” and “Increase customer satisfaction” since a low level of product returns indicates good product quality. Consequently, Strategy maps enable you to anticipate how changes in one strategy element affect other strategy elements. See About Creating Strategy Maps.

You can organize elements on Strategy maps using the perspectives and strategic themes defined by the framework you are using. See Defining Element Types at the Framework Level.
