Creating and Maintaining Dataviews

You modify and create dataviews in Create Dataview.

  To create dataviews:

  1. On the Accounts view, select View, then Dataviews.

  2. Select Create Dataview.

  3. Optional: To select an dataview, select one in Dataview.

  4. Optional: To remove a dataview, select one in Dataview and click Delete.

  5. Optional: To rename a dataview, select one in Dataview and click Rename.

  6. Optional: To change the display order of the dataviews, click Reorder.

    In Reorder Dataviews, drag and drop dataviews to a different order, and click OK.

  7. Optional: To create dataviews, click New.

  8. Optional: Select Display Group Header as Titles to display Account Group headings in the first row of the dataview.

    For use if the dataview contains an account group.

  9. Optional: Select Hide Input Row if a Calc Account to hide input rows of calculated accounts.

  10. Optional: Select Hide Forecast Row if a Calc Account to hide forecast methods of calculated accounts.

  11. Select account attributes:

    • Available Account

      Select attributes in the Available Account column and click Add to include it in the dataview.

      • Output Row

        Displays account outputs.

      • Input Row

        Displays account inputs.

      • Forecast Row

        Displays structured forecast methods or the Freeform Formula descriptions.

      • Blank Row

        Inserts blank rows between accounts.

    • Selected Account Attributes

      The Selected Account Attributes displays account attributes used by the dataview. To remove an attribute one, select it in this column and click Remove.

  12. Add time periods to the dataview.

  13. Click OK.
