The Area Chart section adds patterns and colors to an area chart.

Fill

Styles and colors in the chart's fill areas.

If you choose more styles than colors, SQR Production Reporting Studio maps the styles and colors in order until it reaches the last style which is mapped back to the first color. The same holds true if there are more colors than styles.

  • Style—Style(s) to use.

    You must enter a value for X-Axis Series on the Data tab in for multiple styles to appear.

  • Color —Color(s) to apply to the styles. Select one color for each style, or one color for all the styles.

The color palette selected in the Palette tab is used to display the available color choices. You can use the default palette, add or delete any colors in the default palette, or define a new palette.

The Line Chart section controls the color, size, and style of lines and symbols on a line chart.

Line

Style, color, and size of the lines in the chart.

  • Style(s)—Line style (Solid, LongDash, ShortDash, LongShort, DashDot)

  • Color(s)—Color(s) to apply to the styles. Select one color for each style, or one color for all the styles. Select color values in the range of RGB.

  • Size—Line size for an individual chart element. Select a numeric value in the range of 1-10 pixels.

Symbol

Style, color, and size of the symbols in the chart.

  • Style(s)—Symbol style (None, Dot, Box, Triangle, Diamond, Star, VerticalLine, HorizontalLine, Cross, Circle, Square)

  • Color(s)—Color(s) to apply to the styles. Select one color for each style, or one color for all thee styles. Select symbol colors within the range of RGB.

  • Size—Line size. Valid values range from 1-100 pixels.

The Outline section defines the style and color of the outlines in the chart.
