Creating a DSN Using the BI Server ODBC Driver

  To create a DSN using the BI Server ODBC driver:

1. Launch the ODBC Data Source Administrator and select System DSN.

2. Select Add to add a new data source.

3. In Create New Data Source, select Oracle BI Server.

4. In Oracle BI Server DSN Configuration, do the following:

   • Enter a name for the DSN.

   • Enter a login ID and password.

   • Select a database.

   • (Optional) Select a default catalog.

   • Click Finish.

5. Click OK to exit the ODBC Data Source Administrator.
