To insert an object into the layout: Go to the desired layout area and select an object from the Insert menu.
Go to the desired layout area and click the button representing the object on the Object Toolbar.
Click the button representing the object on the Object Toolbar and drag it to the desired layout area.
Drag fields and variables from the Query Explorer into the report layout.
Use the Reports Fields dialog box to insert or drag fields and variables into the layout.
You can only insert some objects into specific sections in the report layout. The following table summarizes into which section(s) you can insert each object.
