Select View, then Grid to display a grid as you lay out your report in the SQR Production Reporting Studio Layout window. When you use a grid, you can define the information about the grid in the Grid Settings dialog box.

Grid Spacing | Sets the grid spacing in points. The default is a 4-point horizontal (width) grid spacing and a 4-point vertical (height) grid spacing. |
Snap to Grid | Snaps objects (such as database columns and graphical elements) to the grid. This makes it easier to align objects in the Layout area. |
Display Grid | Displays the grid in the layout area. |
