Line Properties

Property	Description
Width	The line’s horizontal length. (Only applies to horizontal lines.)
Height	The line’s vertical length. (Only applies to vertical lines.)
Rule	Thickness of the line.
Cap	Type of cap used with the line.
Line Style	Style of the line.
Line Color	Color of the line.
Type	The line’s orientation. Select horizontal, vertical, or line. Select Line to draw a line from a starting point to any point on the page. For example, select Line to draw a diagonal line. When you preview HTML reports, only horizontal lines display. When you preview SPF reports, both horizontal and vertical lines display.

To apply formatting options to more than one line, press [Shift] and click the desired lines in the layout. When you select more than one line, the title of the dialog box changes from Line Properties to Multiple Objects. To define default line properties, select File/Edit, then Preferences and enter the information under Line in the Objects tab.
