Configuring E-mail Notifications

Use the Administer module to configure the following e-mail properties:

Whether e-mail attachments are enabled; and if so, the maximum number of bytes allowed in an attachment
The duration to keep scheduled jobs and background jobs in the notification logs

Note:

You need the administrator role to configure properties in the Administer module.

Use the Configuration Utility to configure mail server settings (select Hyperion Foundation, and then Common Settings).

Template files define the format of e-mail notification messages. During installation, default template files are installed. Each notification type has its own template file; therefore, you can customize the e-mail notifications for each notification type.
