The image sigad_vm_006.png shows how Oracle Database Firewall high availability works when you are using two Audit Vault Servers. The sequence is as follows:
A pair of Audit Vault Servers, called a resilient pair, send data to and from a network switch. In the diagram, the Audit Vault Servers are together on a rectangle on the left.
To the right of the Audit Vault Servers is a pair of Database Firewalls. These Firewalls are also sending data to and from the network switch. In the diagram, the two Firewalls are on a rectangle to the right of the Audit Vault Servers.
To the right of the Database Firewalls is the network switch. The network switch sends data to and from the secured target and to and from the database clients and applications. The secured target has a host agent, which connects the secured target to the Audit Vault Server.
To the right of the network switch are the protected database and database clients and applications. In the diagram, the secured target is separate from the database clients and applications.
