Copying Node Properties

You can copy properties from one node to another, including copying and pasting properties to and from nodes in different versions.

  To copy node properties:

  1. From Browse, select a version.

  2. Select a hierarchy.

  3. From Hierarchies, select Open.

    The top node of the hierarchy is displayed in a node tree.

  4. Select a node from which to copy properties.

  5. From Nodes, select Copy Properties.

  6. Locate and select the node to which you want to paste the properties.

    Note:

    If you are pasting properties to a node in a different version, open the other version and locate and select the node.

  7. From Nodes, select Paste Properties.

  8. In the Paste Properties dialog box, select the type of properties to copy:

    • Overridden Properties Only

    • All Properties

    • Selected Properties––If you select this option, you will select the properties to copy.

  9. Click OK.
