Use basic definitions for designing forms, managers, shells, and other Primavera Unifier components.
To create a basic data definition
| 1 | In Administration Mode, navigate to Companies > [Company] > Data Structure > Data Definitions > Basic. |
| 2 | Click the New button. The Create New Data Definition window opens. |
| 3 | In the Name field, enter a unique name for the data definition. |
| • | The name can include alphanumeric characters, spaces, dashes, and underlines. |
| • | The name will be case-sensitive in Primavera Unifier. |
| • | The name cannot begin the name with a prefix reserved by Oracle Primavera: SYS, UUU, or Picker. |
| 4 | In the Data Type field, specify whether the definition will be a string or integer data type. |
When you specify the data type, Primavera uDesigner displays an additional field, Input Type.
| 5 | In the Input Type field, select the method the user will use to enter the data. |
| 6 | Click OK. |
