For a migration to occur, both the source and target machines must be running compatible software, as follows:
At least Version 2.1 of the Logical Domains Manager must be running on both machines.
Both the source and target machines must have a compatible version of firmware installed to support live migration. See Oracle VM Server for SPARC 3.0 Release Notes.
