You can change the appearance of the play modes using settings in two files, config.xml and style.xml, in the Player publishing style. Note that these settings affect the standard Player and the windowed See It! mode.
- Hide the action area: There is a setting in the config.xml file called HideActionBordersInSeeIt. The default value is false. Changing the value to true hides all the action areas in See It! mode, in both the windowed and standard Player.
- Use modern cursor and click graphic: There is a setting in the config.xml file called UseCursorShadow. The default value is false. Changing the value to true means that the mouse pointer has a filled circle behind it, and the click graphic is a larger circle around the cursor. This setting affects See It! mode in the windowed Player and all play modes in the standard Player.
- Use gray bubbles: There is a setting in the style.xml file called GrayBubbles. The default value is false. Changing the value to true means that the bubbles use the grey color scheme and squarer shape. This setting affects See It! mode in the windowed Player and See It!, Try It!, and Know It? play modes in the standard Player.
To make any of these changes for all packages you publish, edit the config.xml and the style.xml file at the root of the Player publishing style in the System\Publishing\Styles\<category> folder.
