Copy and Paste Frames


After completing this topic, you will be able to copy a frame from one topic and paste it to another topic.


Steps:

  1. We have opened two topics, Opening a Document and Exiting WordPad.

    Step 1
  2. Select the frame you want to copy.

     

    Click the first F frame.

  3. You can copy multiple frames. Add another frame to the selection.

     

    Press the [Shift] key and click the S (Introduction) frame.

  4. The two consecutive frames are highlighted to show that they are selected.

  5. You can use the menu or toolbar button to copy frames. Use the menu to copy the selected frames.

     

    Click the Edit menu.

  6. Click the Copy Frames command.

  7. To paste the copied frames to another topic, open or switch to the topic.

     

    Click the Exiting WordPad tab.

  8. Notice that the first recorded frame displays the open File menu.

  9. Select the frame, after which you want to paste the copied frame(s).

     

    Click the S frame.

  10. You can use the menu or toolbar to paste frames. Use the menu to paste the copied frames.

     

    Click the Edit menu.

  11. Click the Paste Frames command.

  12. Because the copy selection includes a Start frame, a message box opens telling you that Start and End frames are converted to Explanation frames.

     

    Click the OK button.

  13. The pasted frames appear in the topic.

  14. The Introduction frame text appears in the Explanation frame because the Start frame was converted to an Explanation frame.

     

    After pasting, you can delete any unnecessary frames.
