The Recorder behavior varies based on how the Screenshot capture mode (Manual or Automatic) and Sound Recording (Record sound with topic) are set.
The Recorder behavior is summarized below.
Record sound with topic is On

A second PrintScreen begins recording a screenshot for each keystroke (and sound if any) until the next PrintScreen. The camera icon flashes to indicate when a screenshot is taken.
Record sound with topic is Off
Screenshot capture is Manual: Sound icon is muted, volume and VU meter disabled. "Press PrintScreen to begin recording" message displays. The Start Screen is recorded. A screenshot is recorded with each PrintScreen. A camera clicking sound indicates when the screenshot is taken.
Screenshot capture is Automatic: Sound icon is muted. The Deskband activates and keystrokes are recorded until the next PrintScreen. No sound is recorded. The camera icon flashes and the camera clicking sound indicates when a screen shot is taken.
