Topics previously recorded using Record It! are stored in the Record It Content folder in the Library. You can edit existing topics using the Edit an existing topic option on the Welcome to Record It! page of the Record It! wizard. This option opens the Select Topic to Edit page where you the select a topic for edit.
 

Note: If you cancel out of the Record It! wizard, the original topic remains in the Record It Content folder. Edits made during the session are saved if you saved the changes while in the Topic Editor; otherwise they are discarded upon cancel.


ProcedureTo edit a topic using Record It!:

  1. From the Welcome to Record It! page, click Edit an existing topic and click Next.
     
  2. Select the topic or test to edit and click Next.

    The Welcome to the Topic Editor window appears with basic instructions about how to use the Topic Editor. Click OK to close the window.

    or

    From the Edit Your Topic page, select Yes, launch editor.
  3. Edit the document in the Topic Editor and save the changes.
     
  4. Close the Topic Editor to return to the Record It! wizard.
