The Resolution property determines the screen resolution in which the content is recorded. The resolution is determined by the dimensions in the Width and Height properties.
To set the resolution, you can select one from the list of common screen resolutions or enter a custom screen resolution in the Resolution field.
If authors attempt to record in a screen resolution other than the assigned resolution, a message box informs them that their resolution does not match the setting for the topic and indicates in what resolution they should record. While authors are not prevented from recording in a different resolution if they choose, this property does help to create greater consistency in the content.
The Resolution property for recorded topics is read-only; you cannot change the resolution for a topic that has already been recorded.
