After you include questions in an assessment, you can reorder them. During playback, assessment questions can appear in the same order they appear in the Assessment Editor if the Question Order property (of the assessment) is set to As Authored (default). However, you can have questions appear in random playback order by changing this property to Random Order. See Assessment Properties in the View Document Properties chapter of the Content Development guide for more information on random question order.

Note: You can override the Question Order property for associated assessments (linked using the Assessments property) when setting up pre- and post-assessments in the Professional edition of the Knowledge Center.

To reorder questions in an assessment:

1. Open an assessment.
    
2. Select one or more questions that you want to reposition.
    
3. Click or on the Assessment Editor toolbar as necessary until the questions are in the desired location.
    
   You can also use drag-and-drop to move questions to another location.
    
4. Save the assessment.
