Diagram component

Purpose

NewElement

Study element—Can appear in the workflow for a study design.

NewEvent

Study event—Can appear in the workflow for a study design or for a study element.

NewRepEvent

Repeating study event—Can appear in the workflow for a study design or for a study element.

NewForm

Form—Can appear in the workflow for a study event.

NewRepForm

Repeating form—Can appear in the workflow for a study event.

NewRule

Workflow rule—The color of the component indicates the study object that precedes the workflow rule in the workflow diagram:

  • Blue—Study element
  • Green—Study event
  • Gray—Form

GlobalCon

Global condition—Above a study object, this component indicates that a global condition is associated with the study object.

Workflow component. Connecting arrow.

Arrow—Connects two workflow diagram components. The arrow indicates the order of the workflow between the components.

Num

Sequence number—Indicates the order of workflow diagram components that are not at the endpoint of a connecting arrow.

TargetIcon

Data view icons—In the lower-left corner of a workflow object, icons indicate the target application for which a study object and its children were designed.

SchedInfo

Schedule drop-down list—When you click the clock (Clock) icon, a summary of the scheduling information for a study object appears.
