This chapter contains information on new product features for Extensibility Pack 3.1 of Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process.
The following enhancements have been made for the Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Extensibility Pack 3.1.
The PQM Extension Library allows users in GSM and SCRM to have visibility to PQM objects that are created. This will allow them to see problem areas more quickly and thus make better business decisions. This solution pack has been built on top of a 6.1.1 core feature for extensible columns.
For more information, refer to the Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process PQM Extension Library Solution Pack Guide and the Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process Extensible Columns Guide.
The Reporting Database Layer Reference Implementation is created to facilitate data access for reports. This implementation consists of database objects such as views, functions and tables. This release is created to work specifically with the PQM Report Pack Reference Implementation so the majority of the views are PQM related. There are two implementations, one for Oracle and one for SQL Server.
This reference implementation can be found in the EP 3.1 directory: ReferenceImplementations\ReportingDBLayer
The PQM Report Pack Reference Implementation contains reports to support the usage of the PLM for Process application, Product Quality Management. These reports are written with BI Publisher and depend on the Reporting Database Layer Reference Implementation. There are ten reports that can be run on Oracle or SQL Server. The Oracle implementation is designed for multilingual reports with security checks for parameters. The SQL Server implementation does not have these features built in but can be added by customers or consultants.
This reference implementation can be found in the EP 3.1 directory:
