The image oam_sysinfo.png shows the Oracle Appliance Manager Standalone Configurator System Information page. The navigation frame is on the left side of the page as described in the previous image. In the navigation frame, the preceding and subsequent screens are listed as links that you can click to go directly backward or forward one page, and the current screen name is in bold font. On the bottom of the page are the Help, Back, Next, Finish, and Cancel buttons, all of which are active except for the Finish button. In the main part of the screen are the following selection fields and options:
System Name. This is a text field where you enter the name of the Oracle Database Appliance System. In this screen example, the name of the system entered is "mysystem".
Region. This is a list where you select the region where the appliance runs. In this screen example, the region selected is "America."
Timezone: This is a list where you select the time zone where the appliance runs. In this screen example, the time zone selected is America/Los_Angeles.
Database Deployment: This is a list where you select the type of database deployment you want to configure. In this screen example, RAC is selected.
New Root Password and New Root Password (confirm). These text fields are where you enter the root password you want to assign to the operating system.
When you complete the selections on this page, you click Next to continue to the next page.
