Creating the WebSphere Environment for P6

IBM WebSphere is a supported application server for P6. Creating the WebSphere environment consists of the following tasks:

• Installing the application server. See Prerequisites for P6 EPPM Configuration.
• Installing the application on the server. See the Installing and Configuring P6 EPPM guide.
• Configuring and deploying the application server. See Configuring WebSphere for P6 EPPM Applications.
• Starting the application server. See Starting WebSphere for P6 EPPM Applications.

Other configuration tasks covered in this section are optional, depending on your organization's needs.
