================================================================================ Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator ETL GENERAL (3.1.1) - Release Date: December 2013 - This release is compatible with the Oracle Endeca Server 7.6.1 release. - The release notes may have been updated since the release date. Access the Oracle Documentation page at http://docs.oracle.com for the most recent version of the release notes. INSTALLATION (3.1.1) - See the "Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator Integrator ETL Installation Guide" for installation information. BUG FIXES (3.1.1) * IETL-168: Revised the Integrator ETL Installation Guide to indicate that Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 is a supported operating system for Integrator ETL Server. Specified the version and edition of Eclipse required for Integrator ETL Designer. The required version is 3.7 (Indigo) and the required edition is the Eclipse IDE for Java Developers. The Eclipse IDE for JEE Developers is not supported. * IETL-173: The installer now validates that Eclipse package is Eclipse Indigo. If the Eclipse package specified for the installation is a different version, the installation terminates with an error. Note, however, that the installer does not check the edition of the Eclipse package. You are responsible for ensuring that the package is the Eclipse IDE for Java Developers. Other editions (such as the Eclipse IDE for JEE Developers) cannot be used. KNOWN ISSUES (3.1.1) * IETL-50: In the Load Data from OBI wizard, if the encryption key for the OBI server password contains a space, the graph Baseline.grf fails to run. * IETL-52: If the number of errors that occur when a component is executed exceeds the number specified in the "Maximum number of failed batches" property in the configuration of the component, the error port does not work and error messages are not written out. * IETL-69: When the Integrator ETL Server is installed on Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.4, the Service Detail page fails to display and returns an error. * IETL-80: When the Integrator ETL Server is installed on Linux, no validation window is displayed when clicking the Operation Name button on the Web Service Client component. * IETL-81: When Integrator ETL Server is installed on Linux, the Add Libraries window is not displayed after clicking the "+" button on the Hadoop HDFS connection. * IETL-82: On the Universal Data Reader component, if the value of the "Number of skipped records" property is set to "0", the graph does not fail and return an error when it should do so. * IETL-87: When the Integrator ETL Designer is installed on Linux, right- clicking in any input field causes Integrator ETL to freeze. * IETL-120: When deploying Integrator ETL Server to a WebLogic Server operating in Production Mode, the Integrator ETL Server fails to start the first time after it is deployed. If you restart the WebLogic domain, both the WebLogic Domain and the Integrator ETL Server start successfully, but the WebLogic console and the AdminServer log file report exceptions and the WebLogic internal service wls-wsat.war fails to start. The error occurs because both the Integrator ETL web application (clover.war) and the wls-wsat.war web application include .jar files that conflict: saaj-impl.jar and saaj-api.jar. If no other applications in the domain use the wls-wsat service, you can ignore the error, or you can disable deployment of the wls-wsat.war in the domain. Alternatively, you can remove the conflicting .jar files (WEB-INF/lib/saar- impl.jar and WEB-INF/lib/saaj-api.jar) from the Integrator ETL web application (clover.war). After removing the conflicting .jar files from the Integrator ETL Web application, both Web applications function correctly. * IETL-133: When using the Add KVPs component, if the value of the value of the specKey input property does not exist in the data domain, a new record is created that does not belong to any collection. ================================================================================ Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator ETL GENERAL (3.1.0) - Release Date: October 2013 - This release is compatible with the Oracle Endeca Server 7.6 release. - The release notes may have been updated since the release date.
