Adding a Slider to the Dashboard

To add a slider:

Open a dashboard section in design mode.
From the Elements pane, expand Controls
Select the Slider control and drag it to the Content pane.
A slider object is added to the Contents pane.
Select the Slider object.
The Category pane of the data layout is displayed.
From the Elements pane, expand the Results or Table section.
Select a dimension (non-fact) item and drag it to the Category pane of the data layout
Select the slider and on the shortcut menu select Properties.
The Properties dialog box is displayed.
Select the Association tab.
The Association dialog box is displayed.
In the Available, pane, select a gauge or (Live) Chart and click to add it to the Selected pane.
Select OK.
To remove the association between the slider and the gauge, select the gauge in the Selected pane and click .
Select the Slider tab.
From the Theme drop-down, select the theme of the Slider.

Available options are: realistic or simplistic.
From the Subtype drop-down, select the orientation of the Slider.
Available options are: vertical or horizontal.
Click OK.
