Each folder in the Oracle BI Server Semantic Layer Presentation Area appears as a database to Interactive Reporting. By default all such folders are displayed in the catalog tree of Interactive Reporting.
Presentation layer topics are available for you to choose from as data model topics including the:
Presentation Layer (first column)
Business Model Layer (second column)
Physical Layer (third column)
Within Interactive Reporting, topics from the OBI Server presentation layer are exposed.
Tables are added to the data model as ‘non-joined’ tables. The query results set displays without prompting “This query is not properly joined. Do you wish to continue?”
