Description of the illustration opcfg_vm

The image is a diagram that shows a good network configuration, which uses a network switch to connect the Enterprise Controller to two security zones through a firewall. The Enterprise Controller is represented as an imrage of a system with labels for the DHCP service and the net0 interface. The net0 interface is connected to an image of a network switch. Two lines connect the network switch to two firewalls. Each firewall is represented as a brick wall connected to the net0 interface of a remote Proxy Controller. The remote Proxy Controller and the servers it supports are in a security zone, which is represented as a shaded box. Within each security zone, the net1 interface of the Proxy Controller connects to the net0 of the server's OS. The server is represented by a series of rectangles with labels for net0 interface, OS, LOM and mgmt interface.The net2 interface of the Proxy Controller connects to the mgmt interface of the server's LOM. The net1 interface of the server's OS connects to the application network. The image of the net1 interface is multiplied to represent several interfaces, each making a separate connection to the various application networks.
